Babylon [ Look-out tower ]
The "Babylon" look-out tower stands on Zelený kopec (Green hill) u Mohelna, and is one of the oldest such buildings in Moravia; it was built in 1831 by Count Jindřich Vilém Haugvic, originally for surveying purposes.
Tourists were admitted much later. The stone structure is 40 m high, and older sources indicate thet it was formerly one storey higher, but that it was of necessity lowered after the loss of the war with Prussia in 1866.
