Kleť [ Look-out tower ]
The stone tower at Kleť is the oldest mountain look-out tower in Bohemia and Moravia; it was built by the then lord of the manor, Josef Schwarzenberg, in 1825.
The tower is 15 m high, and offers excellent views of the Šumava, South Bohemia, and in good conditions the Alps.
Refreshments are available in the adjacent. Access to the peak is made easier by a chairlift.
